Hair Cuts

This was the first time I ever gave a haircut and KK's turned out nice. She sat very still and I trimmed up her bangs.

Then Caden wanted his hair cut and he wanted it buzzed like Josiah. I cut it and then he said that it was wrong because it still was there. He wanted all his hair off. So here is what it looks like.

The Kids Made A Mess

The kids got into some coal dust and water today. They were upstairs and they got it all over their hands and the walls and the bed and their clothes. Needless to say they got a timeout and scrubbed to death in a tub. They got dressed and Caden put this shirt on that said: "It seemed like a good idea at the time." it was very ironic.

Mittens

The little boys keep losing their gloves so I made them some mittens with strings on them so they cannot lose them.

Little Feet

This poem is called "Mother's Inspiration" I feel like it applies to a Nanny too.

Had I no little feet to guide
Along life's toilsome way,
My own more frequently might slide,
More often go astray.

But when I meet my baby's eyes,
At God's own bar I stand,
And angles draw me toward the skies
While baby holds my hand.

A Fort

Today the kids built a fort out of a blanket and some chairs. I remember doing that wiht Anton when we were little and we had so much fun. These Kids had a lot of fun too. Here are some pics.

Sharing

The kids often don't like to share. But this day they were doing a good job.

Kaylie was playing then she said that she was going to sleep like a book. Then she crawled onto the bookshelf a curled up with a giggle.

~Loneliness~

I heard once that loneliness is God calling to your heart and telling you to turn to him.
