Beautiful & Hard

Saturday night I went to beautiful wedding. The minister talked about how the couples relationship drew both of them closer to God. How being together brought out the best in them and made them more Godly. It made me cry, that is exactly what I want. I want to have a relationship with a guy that makes us both grow closer to God and shows the beautiful picture of Christ's love for the church.

Do Hard Things. With God's help they aren't so hard. I don't ever start conversations with strangers but on the train back I sat next to this girl and we talked the whole ride. We talked about God, gender differences, homeschooling, morality, literature, and school. She is a buddhist and believes in reincarnation. We talked and I tried my best to state my beliefs and convictions but I stumbled over my words a lot, I prayed through the whole conversation and I know God can use what I said for his purposes. We talked about books and she has read lots of similar books (classics) I was talking about the book Do Hard Things and she was really interested. Well, this was a hard thing for me but with God's help I hope it sounded good. Please pray that God uses this in her life. Love you all, :)

What I am reading right now

This is a book that is written in the form of a diary and it tells the story a of a young woman's journey in her faith. It is really good and encouraging. It explains the doubts and the difficulties of faith.

Girls Together

Kaylie and I painted our toes, and her fingers. She was really excited. It was fun.

Anton's Visit

Anton came to visit me last weekend and we had a great time. I beat him in a game of cards and he read to the little ones before they went to bed. Then we went down town and walked around. We did some window shopping and we ate lunch then we took the train back home for the weekend.

Flip-Flops

Well for me this warm weather means getting a chance to wear flip-flops(their not called thongs anymore Rach :) and not gym shoes and sometimes even paint my toenails(bright colors). I just love this weather and just now at the turn of the seasons is when I get the most joy out of being outside. I will be using the upstairs porch a lot. Well, enjoy the wonderful weather everyone.

summer's days mean baths

well with the nice weather comes the chance to get messy and these kids do it well :) They are going to need a bath everyday in the spring and summer.

~Loneliness~

I heard once that loneliness is God calling to your heart and telling you to turn to him.
