Church Renovations

We are renovating the church and building a new sanctuary. Everyone is pitching in and working together. It is lots of fun.

Day at the Park

We had a great day at the park. The kids loved it and I had a great time too. They are so cute playing together.

Spring Break

Well I have had a great time over spring break.
It was warm :)


And we had a picnic lunch too.

It was Jacob's birthday and he wanted to go bowling. Later after we had pizza and cake. Yummy!




It was really great to be home. I miss it.

Spring Fever

We just had to go outside. The sun was shining and it was 48°. We all went to the park and the kids just ran around and played with the happiest faces ever. Then Mrs. H wanted to go down to the beach. Wishful thinking on her part. We went and the kid played in the sand. But everyone was getting cold. The beach had a bunch of sand along he edge of the shore and we were playing tag on top of it. Then when my legs went through the snow I realized that the snow wasn't on the sand it was on top of the water. My feet were soaked in the coldest water I have ever felt. Needless to saw that was the end of the day and we went back to the house to get dried off.

Musings of a Lady

During this year I have learned a lot. I have had a taste of motherhood and running a home. I have experimented with cooking and even with potty training :) I have even had the opportunity to test out my homeschooling skills. I realized the other day that this time in my life is when I have the biggest opportunity to grow closer to God. I don't need to do laundry, fix dinner, mediate an argument, just be mommy, or anything else that a wife/mother does. I can learn so much right now. Even though I cannot wait to be a wife/mother I realize that I need to make the most of my time right now. And with God's help I can do just that.

Weekend Visit

I had 2 friends come over for the weekend and we had a great time. We walked around the city and we hung out at the house.
