My Parents Visit
My parents came to see me on my mom's birthday. They brought me a basket of fresh fruit and we spent the day together. We went down town and walked around down town and took the CTA all around. We went to Ginos for lunch and had really good pizza! Mom got a free cupcake at the Hershy store. Then we took the south-shore home. It was a lot of fun.
Semi-State
Then they went to semi-state. They ran their best
and they stood waiting for the results. Only the top 6 teams advance. We all stood around and then they said the seventh teams name and it wan't us the whole PENN crowd screamed. Then they said 6 and 5 and they weren't PENN either. The Boys were 4th over all. THEY ARE GOING TO STATE!!!!!!!

The Park
The Barn Party
I went home for the weekend and went to a barn party. My brother and sister decorated pumpkins. Rachel's was a cowgirl and Jacob's was a porcupine. They did a great job. I got to see my friend Brittany and we had a great time together. Before the party we passed a field and it was a beautiful picture of green and gold.

My Brother
My Bro-ther is a runner. When we were both in High-school we were both on the cross country team. Now he is training to get faster and trying his best at his races. Go Anton! "Do you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get the crown that will last forever."—1Corinthians 9:24-25

To Many Kids Books
Once upon a time there was a, fox in sox on knox on box. Chicks with bricks come chicks with blocks come, chicks with bricks and blocks and clocks come. Hop Hop we like to hop, we like to hop on top of pop. Stop you must not hop on pop. The little mermaid wanted to live with the humans and hoped to fall in love with the prince. The 7 little men wondered who cleaned the house. AaA what begins with A aunt Annie's alligator AaA. The tiger was waiting in the bushes for the man cub. Then the king of pride rock had a son. I Love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living my baby you'll be. Then and angle appeared to Mary and told her she would have a son. Then Aladdin rubbed the lamp and a Genie appeared. You have three wishes. There were 99 Dalmatians in the room, what was she going to do with them all. I meant what I said and I said what I meant an elephants faithful one-hundred percent. The slipper fits. Then her father turned her back into to a human. My brothers read a little bit. Little words like if and it.—hey look it is 7:00, time for bed— And they all lived happily ever after.
I need some new books. Time for a trip to the library.

The Most Important Question
I had the most fulfilling talk this evening. Corban came to me crying because he was afraid to go to sleep. I took him into his room and we talked about his fear. I told him he had nothing to be afraid of and that we could pray about his fears and ask God to take them away. He said but on Easter Jesus died so he wouldn't be able to hear him. So I got a chance to explain to him that yes Jesus died to pay for his people's sins but the story didn't end in his death he rose again and went up to heaven and he is there still and he can hear us anytime we pray. That talk reminded me that is the reason I am here. I didn't come here just to get the experience but to pour myself into these kids' lives and to show them a little of what Jesus would look like and maybe plant the seed that will someday lead to the most important decision of their lives, their response to the call of God. And I can think of nothing better than that, to call success
Military Friends
I have a bunch of friends in the military and I would ask that you pray for them just like me. There names are: Nathanael, JT, Nick, Tim, Brent, Steven, Jake, and Alex. Here are pics of just a few of them. Steven(my cousin) is currently in Iraq, he should come back by the first week in November. JT and Nick are almot done with the basic training in the Marines, they will be home for a week starting on the 13th of October . Brent is currently at Navy bootcamp, and seems to be doing well. Nathanael just finished basic and is off to specialty training, his first break is over Christmas and he is very excited about seeing his family. All of the guys seem to be very excited about coming home to see their familys whenever that my be.

~Loneliness~
I heard once that loneliness is God calling to your heart and telling you to turn to him.
